DIRECTIONS TO SHELLY RIDGE
Shelly Ridge is located on Manor Road (on the Philadelphia/Montgomery
county line) just off Ridge Pike. Here are three possible routes--conditions
on portions of the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) will probably determine
your choice of route.
1) Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76 West) to the Belmont
exit. Turn right, cross the river, turn left on Main Street, turn right
on Leverington and (almost immediately) left on Umbria. Follow Umbria
(past the Northwest Incinerator) to its curving turn into Shawmont Avenue
and go up the hill to Ridge Avenue. Turn left on Ridge. From Andorra Shopping
Center (where Ridge and Henry Avenues merge to form Ridge Pike), it is
1 mile to Shelly Ridge. About 0.3 mile after the light at Bells Mill Road,
turn left on Manor Road.
or
2) Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76 West)
to 476 North. Follow 476 North for about 2 miles to the Conshohocken
exit. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Ridge Pike and
proceed for 3.2 miles to Manor Road. Turn right on Manor Road
(just past the ACE Center golf course).
or
3) Take Kelly Drive to the first traffic light at Hunting
Park Avenue. Turn right on Hunting Park and follow it through the cemetery
to the second traffic light at Henry Avenue. Turn left on Henry Avenue
and follow it until it becomes Ridge Pike. From Andorra Shopping Center
(where Ridge and Henry Avenues merge to form Ridge Pike), it is one mile
to Shelly Ridge. About 0.3 mile after the light at Bells Mill Road, turn
left on Manor Road.
Manor Road is marked with a sign for ACE Center
golf course. After you turn on Manor Road, proceed 0.3 mile
to the left turn into Shelly Ridge.
