THE PHILADELPHIA SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (TPSA)
All parents are members of The Philadelphia School Association
(TPSA). The Philadelphia School encourages active parent involvement.
Through
TPSA, parents work closely with the head of school and other
staff members to address concerns of the parent body and to
help coordinate school events, such as Parent Education Night
and GrandParents
& GrandFriends Day.
Parents also chaperone trips and lend their
expertise in the classroom.
Many participate on the Board of Trustees and its committees.
An exciting
initiative is First
Week, a monthly community service project spearheaded by
the parent association.
Family Diversity@TPS is another parent-led group that meets regularly to plan events and provide resources to the school community.
